Dr (Mrs) Adesimi Ajayi attended St. Peters’ Teachers’ Training College, Akure where she obtained a distinction  in Mathematics (Arithmetic Processes). She also obtained a National Certificate in Education in Home Economics  at the Ondo State  College of Education, Ikere- Ekiti. She holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and  Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees all in Adult Education from the University of Lagos.

An educationist with a career spanning over three decades, she has taught in both primary and secondary schools across Southwest Nigeria. She is currently Headmistress at the University of Lagos Staff School where she previously worked as a teacher and midwifed the early education of hundreds of pupils including her own children. She regularly facilitates workshop for teachers and actively mentors aspiring teachers.

She is the author of  Everyday Mathematics Workbook for Primary School Books One to Six (six modules).

A devout Christian, she is happily married with four adult children.
